The short list of the top five entries will be announced on April 1. The final winner will be announced at an April 30 luncheon in Orillia, Ontario, and will be awarded $15,000 from the TD Financial Group as well as the prestigious Leacock Medal for Humour. The remaining top four authors will be awarded cash prize of $1,500 at the luncheon.
