Jean Dickson - Celebration of Life

Jean Dickson was a volunteer with the Leacock Associates for almost 50 years, working with publishers and authors on issues related to the Leacock Medal.  The recognition of Canadian literary humour was her passion.

Jean died in December 2017.  Though she had requested that no funeral be held for her, she did hope that a party could be arranged where her friends and family could enjoy each other’s company instead.  Jean loved a good party and wanted others to enjoy themselves.

Please join Jean Dickson’s family and 'Leacockian' friends in celebrating Jean’s life on Sunday, June 10, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Leacock Museum on Old Brewery Bay, Orillia ON.  A light lunch and refreshments will be served.
